Can we book specific pitches? – You choose your own pitches on arrival. We do not reserve pitches.

What time can we arrive? – Between 12 noon and 8 pm. We do ask if you are going to arrive after 5 pm to let us know prior.

What time do we need to leave? – Pitches must be vacated by 12 noon on day of departure.

Can we stay later on day of departure? – Please ask at reception as it all depends on what we have arriving on the day.

Can we bring our dog? – We are a working farm so ‘yes’ but we do ask that they are on a lead or tethered at all times on the site. (Max 2 dogs per unit)

Do we need to pay for the showers? – No they run on a push button system free of charge.

Are there power points in the shower block? – Yes.

Do you have an ice pack freezing facility? – Yes there is a freezer in the washer area for ice packs only.

Is there a Children’s play area on site? – No but the village playground, football pitch and tennis court is ten minutes walk along the footpath directly from the site.

Is there much near to the site? – Hawkshead Village is a ten minute walk, with places to eat out, co-op, pharmacy, cafés, deli, outdoor shops, St Michael’s and All Angels Church, Methodist Chapel, Beatrix Potter’s Office and The Old Grammar School Museum.
